Chinese 5 spice is a ground, blend of dried spices. Fine brown powder with typical aromatic flavour and taste with a cassia top note. The mix is generally made up of Star Anise, Fennel seeds, Szechuan Peppercorns, Whole Cloves and Cinnamon Quills.
