Turkish Apricots are whole pitted Apricots (Prunus armeniaca L. species) that are washed twice, sieved and hand-selected under GMP’s. The fruit is then dried, hand selected again, inspected, packed and put through metal detection. The finished product has the characteristics of an Apricot appearance, with a tangy yet sweet flavour containing good amounts of beta-caratone. Dried Turkish Apricots are also a great source of potassium and fibre.
