Cardamom Seeds is a dark brown small seed from green cardamom pods. The green outer husk is removed to extract the seeds. The Cardamom seeds inside the pod are what gives this culinary spice its aroma and flavour.
Cardamom seeds are used mainly in Indian cuisine and Middle Eastern cuisine in pilaf, curries, stews and desserts. In a part of the Middle East and Africa, cardamom seeds are used in making chai, tea or roasting with green coffee.
